“Deceptively playful, Snake is a film about stubbornness in the face of change. The film chronicles a failure to deal with growing up while using its extremely appealing characters and sounds to glorify the obdurate attempt to replace what is lost.
Becky James is a founding member of the Reasonable People's League, a consortium of artists intent on delivering cutting-edge media strategies by all means necessary. Past projects have been featured in a number of galleries including Vox Populi, Eyebeam, and Rivington Arms, and won awards in various fields (the Rudolf Arnheim Prize for scholarship, been shortlisted for an Edinburgh Fringe First award for performance production, the SXSW Special Jury Prize for film, the H Salon.com Song Search for music, etc.). Current projects include video in consoles, combat/ritual in New Hampshire, and restaging seminal/impossible to find video art (as well as finding somewhere bigger to live).”
