Julia Pott graduated from Kingston University with First Class Honors in Illustration and Animation in July 2007. Since graduating she has been commissioned for various illustration and animation projects including an animated set for Trinity College, Dublin and various music videos and artwork for bands.
Her achievements include being featured on Youtube in August 2007, winning the People's Choice Award at the Standing Rock International Film Festival in January 2008, winning the Audience Award at the Amsterdam Film Experience Festival in November 2007 and being shortlisted for the British Animation Awards and Encounters Film Festival. Her work will appear later this year at the Failure Exhibiton, Colorado, in February, the Amersham Fairground Exhibition, London, in March, the Jaguar Shoes Exhibition, London in July, the Ephameron Exhibiton in Antwerp in August and her film 'My First Crush' will be showcased at the SXSW Film Festival in March 2008.
