| In the 1967 Jorgen Leth created a film entitled The Peferct Human. In the documentary The Five Obstructions the Danish film director Lars Von Trier assigns his former teacher, Jorgen Leth, to remake his classic film. The Perfect Human Bombay is one of five films Jorgen Leth re-creates throughout the documentary, the end result of an assigment to remake The Perfect Human in one of the roughest places on earth, Bombay's red-light district. Leth has created more than 40 films maintaining an experimental approach to the medium. Jorgen Leth is also a poet and writer, and has published volumes of poetry and four non-fiction books.
