| Tomoki Kakitani lives and works in Kyoto, Japan. His most recent exhibitions include Playback at the ARC/Musée d'Art Modern de la Ville de Paris, and Out of the Ordinary: New Video from Japan, at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. He is represented by Kodama Gallery in Tokyo, where he recently showed 20 works collectively titled 20members. Song Bird is one of these works.
