| Amy Yoes' piece Room 863 was the product of a collaborative project entitled 50,000 beds, a project by Chris Doyle. Yoes was among 45 artists commissioned to create short videos, each in a different hotel, motel, or inn across Connecticut . The setting - the hotel room - was chosen for its narrative potential. Amy Yoes received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work includes sculpture, installation and video, often combining media. Yoes has been the recipient of the Pollack-Krasner Foundation Grant as well as the NYFA/New York Foundation for the Arts Award.
