| If you're looking for an Australian airline company or an organization that
represents the personal interest of kangaroos, you may be slightly
disappointed with the Kangaroo Alliance. However, if you're looking for a
talented duo of acclaimed digital artists, who's memorable illustrations,
music videos, commercials and animated shorts have brought smiles to faces
everywhere, you're going to be more than just pleasantly surprised.
The Kangaroo Alliance formed when Craig Sheldon and Lauren Gregg met at
Florida's Ringling School of Art & Design and realized they were both
unafraid of pushing conceptual limits, and yet mutually afraid of watching
scary films at movie theatres. Best known for their character designs and
uncanny ability to combine cute with disturbing, the duo received tremendous
attention for their vibrant debut music video for the band Of Montreal,
which was selected for RESFEST, featured on MTV2 and received the Viewer's
Choice Award for Best Music Video at AthFest.
While their diverse list of clients range from MTV Europe to Disney
Television and Polyvinyl Records, the Kangaroo Alliance admit their typical
working day remains quite consistent: roll out of bed, eat Pop-Tarts, draw
pictures, make them move, laugh and laugh, and eat a big pizza pie
